I would have liked to try and measure up (and crush) a Miami or SEC school not in the playoffs, BUT we may have the most eye-balls on a BYU game ever! Got to make a great showing. Make some heads turn.

I would have loved to see us play an SEC team or a big 10 team. But more importantly that’s who we should be playing in these bowl games. I think it’s stupid for the Big 12 to play each other in a bowl game it does nothing to help the brand. We need to be playing good teams from the SEC and big10 as often as we can and beating them. Only then will we have more clout in the playoffs and rankings.

If you don’t think that is a big part of the equation in creating this matchup… well, if BYU and/or Colorado were to play a good Big 10 or SEC team and beat them that would kind of mess things up going forward but playing each other it maintains the elevated status of those conferences and schools hindering any effort at change in the future.

It may be alittle confusing. I was referring to the elevated status of the Big 10 and SEC. Having BYU play Colorado means that neither will be playing a Big 10 or SEC school so there is no risk to those conferences “elevated status” as the elites of college football. Is that better?

I asked for clear statements from those involved in the conspiracies. Facts like emails, phone calls, fax and anything else to prove their conspiracies. No one could. All that was ever presented was conclusions based on opinions and personal observations.
