Men shoot 3-20. And the women shoot 5-23 against Gonzaga and lose. Panic? Too bad. Women have had a great year not to win the WCC tournament. At least they will make the NCAA tournament.
The reason BYU lost, more than anything is the problem with mental focus and balance. It is the same reason Gonzaga lost to BYU earlier in the season when they blew a huge halftime lead and lost big. I think BYU outscored them 19-3 in the third quarter.
It’s a mental thing. BYU has ALWAYS struggled with the mental aspects of the game.
