We need to win of course but need Arizona to beet ASU OR KSU needs to beat ISU AT ISU right?
Not the best odds for us. BUT UA HATES ASU and KSU playing well.

BYU choked it away last week vs. Kansas. They had no business losing that game at home. It helped give Kansas the confidence to beat Colorado in a home game. The only thing that surprised me about BYU today was the second half comeback and the win that ASU almost gifted away.

Doesn’t surprise me. Been doing it all year long. If we could get off to better starts and score touchdowns in the first half.
If BYU beats Houston and K State Brant’s ISU then BYU plays in the B12 CCG. If ISU wins they are in.
Best wishes for my Cougar but BYU 1000% does not deserve it. We had our chance, only had to win 1 out of 2, and offense just couldn’t get it done.

If they win and ISU loses BYU deserves it as much as anybody else. Four teams have two losses and a number of others only 3. Just about anybody can beat anybody else in the Big 12 this year. There are no great teams in the Big 12 but a lot of good teams.
It is my understanding that if ASU wins they are in and if we win and if ASU wins and ISU loses we are in and we get a rematch with ASU on a neutral field.
I am not sure how things are formulated but Colorado
has to win and two of the other 3 two loss teams have to lose.
pretty sad when BYU plays out of it’s head for two months and then the offense takes 3 games off. As Tom says, We don’t deserve it but If KSt and get a win over ISU, BYU has a chance and really really wants another crack at ASU

Oh, shut up. Doesn’t deserve it? If KSU beats ISU, then they deserve it with 2 or 3 losses? Wake up! If any other 2 loss team deserves it, we would too.

I thought there was another way. AU wins that’s a possibility. Will Colorado be without Saunders after the push? Or, was he pushed into the ref.
Everyone theorizing about the different ways BYU can make it into the Big 12 title game… do you really want that?
I mean hasn’t the end of season collapse, just like last year, been enough to make you wish BYU didn’t have any more games? Honestly, I wish they wouldn’t get a bowl invite but that isn’t going to happen. They might beat Houston, lose out on the Big 12 title game and then get a bowl game against a team with a similar record and get destroyed.
That is how I see the rest of the season playing out.
What a downer of a post. You seem to think other teams never improve during the season. They do. And we are right there with them fighting. We, meaning the players, don’t need a bunch of Debbie Downers telling them they can’t overcome couple of losses and end up in the Big12 championship game, 12 team championships or a bowl game. It’s great for recruiting.
Once again you misunderstand what you read. I see a lot of teams that improve during the season. That is why you play the game, to climb the rankings and see how much you can accomplish. I see ASU doing that right now.
I see BYU doing the opposite right now. Luck (no need to provide your nonsensical definition of luck) has run out and the result has them having done as much as they can and now heading in the opposite direction. It’s unfortunate really because I think with a few small adjustments they could have been playing in the NCAA Division 1 college football playoffs.

Easy for you to say after the fact. A few adjustments like they didn’t. Yes, we have had a great season and it’s not over except for you I guess.
What is the point of that statement? That is what we do here on this fan site, we say lots of things after the fact, after the games, etc. Isn’t that what this site is for?

Well, not the way you do. Some of us can see the good things and be happy with the team this year. I would be happy if we were 11-0. But, we aren’t and still have an outside chance. All this Debbie Downer stuff. Come on. I thought you are a half full glass fan.
When you can only muster 3 pts in the first half you are going lose most games. When the other team scores 21 pts you have about a 95% chance of losing the game. I don’t like Jake as a QB nor ARod as OC. But the bigger issue is that BYU simply doesn’t improve in the second half of the season. Every year we witness other programs scouting BYU and figuring out how to make our offense predictable. Hill’s defense is still 2 years away from being able to have to personnel to run his schemes I really like him as a coach. Sitake and the offense doesn’t deserve to win more games. You watch and see what Houston brings …. I wouldn’t be shocked it it goes down to the wire.
