BYU vs. San Diego.... No idea what to expect

Cooking any eggs lately? because you are scrambling around searching for something to say and you are all over the place. Incoherency at its’ best. The point is that you have no idea what you are talking about, coaching experience or not. That experience isn’t serving you very well. Seriously, it is like you have no idea what is going on, reverting to “missing layups” or “making 3 pointers” and all is lost as to what is really causing all the problems.

It is getting old. Why don’t you join in the thinking man’s discussion and come up with something meaningful?

I do all the time. But really, it’s all for naught if there truly is a conspiracy. So, let’s drop the conspiracies and come up with real solutions from experienced coaches that know what it’s like :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No you don’t and that is a problem. If all that coaching really gave you knowledge and experience, start proving it by coming up with an idea or solution to what ails this team and program… other than “they need to make layups” or “they need to make 3 point shots” or “they have to outscore the other team to win”.

The same thing could be said about every other team in the nation. If Pepperdine could just make more 3 pointers or miss fewer layups they would be undefeated. Come on man, that’s too easy. There are bigger issues at hand.

Please stop giving us the instructional league answers.

But our players are good enough to shoot better than 3-22. That’s the difference. But I don’t expect you to understand. And that’s okay. Referees like umpires are blind

I can see that this is as good as it is going to get. You are the coach Rose of this board, without the gaudy win-loss record. There are so many ways you could improve your comments but you just can’t do it.

Like your conspiracy answers and conjecture? You suppose everything with no proof. My answers are correct without fabricated guesswork. You should try it

I have a suggestion for the rest of the posters on cougarfan.

Stop trying to discuss the basketball team with grasshopper.

The reasons are obvious. I will be the first to commit.

Yep, the first thing liberals and those caught in conspiracies is to try and silence opposition. That’s your solution?

You can say all you want. Nobody is trying to silence anything, I just wish something you said was relative and helpful, that’s all. I wish it was something more than “BYU needs to shoot better on 3’s” or “BYU needs to make layups” or “BYU needs to score more points than their opponent in order to win”.

If you want to keep saying that I don’t have a problem with it, I just probably won’t respond. It is not a practical solution.

Don’t be surprised if Dastrup transfers. Unless he is content being a cheerleader, his presence on the team serves no purpose… not this season and not next season. It is clear Rose hates him. Rose always falls in love with one or two players and hopes they can carry the team. Like Tyler says, those players are getting tired and wearing down. It showed in the play of Bryant and Childs tonight. They both looked tired in a game that had no meaning or significance to BYU. The Cougars are third place and they will probably get a NIT bid… again.

Well, he held Worthington accountable taking him out for bricking shot. Nixon came in and played well. Childs also took a shot early and was pulled and didn’t go back in. In his case, that’s good. I’m sure the knee still limits him a bit although he grabbed some good rebounds but the dunk wasn’t quite as high off the ground as he has done in the past.
As far as Dastrup, he’s obviously not proving to the coaches he can play better than Nixon or Worthington. Tonight, matchups also didn’t help for him to play. Seljass also played well tonight.
