CF playoffs - ya never know!

Are you saying that our defense played inconsistently

Nope. Our offense played against inconsistent defenses that makes our offense looks inconsistent by those looking for a reason to complain about ARod or Retzlaff.

The loss to ASU doesn’t look so bad now

Did I say anything about offense only?

I said the BYU team was inconsistent.

stop trying to twist what I said.

you mean the SEC/ESPN league

ASU’s loss is Bad for the big 12 and our future.
BYU’s loss to ASU was bad because I think BYU could of played better to represent the big 12
Kansas loss was the BIG ONE

No you and others said our defense and special teams were perfect and won the 11 games and the offense did everything to lose those games.

Not so sure. ASU were one play from winning on that 4th down and 13 they blitzed. Looks pretty good there were 4 other teams with the same regular season record.

Do you sit home in front of a half empty glass of water and argue?

I was being positive that the rest of the football world realizes the Big12 football is equal to the SEC.

Do you really think the rest of the football world realizes anything remotely close to what you are saying? That the Big 12 is equal to the SEC in football? Not only do they not realize it, they would not acknowledge it even if it was true. The media don’t, the fans don’t, nobody does. Mostly because top to bottom it is not the case. Yes, we have some good teams but…

Yes I do. Anything else you want to know?

ASU loss probably would have been a win if not for the overturned targeting penalty with just over a minute to go. That would have moved them 15 yards further down the field and with their poor kicker they probably would have needed another fifteen yards to put them at about the 20. The targeting could have been called but they overturned it. It looks like it should have been upheld since the ASU player was momentarily knocked out. The announcers seemed surprised that it was overturned.

ASU won nearly all the stats. They hurt themselves by coming away with no points on several drives into the red zone. They played Texas to a standstill and I don’t think their loss hurt the conference. I think the Baylor and Texas Tech bowl losses hurt more in games that were considered winnable. ASU was a heavy underdog but proved their late season surge was no fluke.

By the way, Skatebo was correct. He is the best RB in the country. I think he is a better all around RB than Jeunty.

Did you see that 40+ yard pass he made? I was impressed!

Texas shut him down in the first half. BYU shut him down in the 2nd half.

reminds you of BYU’s last 4 games in regular season games.

100%, he was unstoppable as he predicted. I would take Jeanty in a heartbeat as well, BSU does not have a P4 Oline and they certainly did not have good coaching in their bowl game. Three interceptions for BSU vs. Penn.

I’m going to be critical of both BSU and ASU for a sec…Both teams run their stud into the teeth of the Defense about 30 times. Averaged about 2 yds. NO One can stop either back one on one. The few times that either ASU or BSU flared out their RBs into the flat on a pass play, good things happened! TDs, 1st downs etc. Missed coaching opportunities!

Reminds me of AROD, BYU had this GREAT Transfer, Gerry Bohanan. We don’t see a whiff of him all season until the Alamo. Sports writers are pointing out what a mistake this is from day one
AROD, why would you not use Bohanan throughout the year?
Short yardage 3rd downs.
What if Rezlaff goes down, you bring in rust backet to run the team. These are no brainers

I think the last question has been answered many times. He was clearly beat out by Retzlaff. Even Bohanan said as much. The players never indicated that they wanted Bohanan. Bohanan also said he did not want to be used in the ways you suggested. He clearly stated Retzlaff won the starting position. With that said, there were times early in the season I wanted to see him given a shot. As time went on, we were winning games, so, why mess the winning up?

Reading comprehension:
No one argues Retzlaff won the starting job
The point…The 2nd has to be ready in case the starter goes down…so you could quit wasting our time and address what I wrote.

Rest of the world? Exactly ZERO people I know think that.

So you are saying that you don’t know the Hopper… he is the ONLY person that thinks that.
