You are totally clueless. So, let me be as simple as I can. A Jew can say Jewish jokes or play on words. A non-Jew should not because you offend some Jews. You aren’t the arbitrator of whether a joke or comment is offensive. If you offend 1 out of 1,000,000 you are required by the Law of Christ to repent and make whatever restitution you can. If you don’t think you said anything wrong doesn’t matter. I’m just educating on it’s alright for Retzlaff to use it but not you. Because I converted from Judaism, I cannot do it either. Until you have walked I’m my shoes, you cannot tell me if your use of the statement is hurtful to some Jews. Clueless.

Hilarious, I love it

way to be racist and tell a culture, nation and people what they should think.

Maybe the 1 in a million is the one who has the problem.
But your mentality on that makes sense now. On this board you are the 1 in a million guy and always think you are right and the 999,999 have the problem.
Yep, all makes sense now. And stop preaching like you’re the most moral person in the world.

sorry about that I didn’t understand that you were saying this is what they (coaches) thought not what you thought.

Your right. Should have read your post before I posted. I got sucked into nonsense that is Whopper again. Apologies all around.
Wonder how that second shooter based on science and facts story is going (can’t resist the shot).

Is that what the Lord would tell you? That you are sinless for the 1 you lost and went after the 999,999 to be with the crowd of saints? How many have you insulted in your life so far that you don’t even know?

ricky bobby

If you read the adjustments in the SMU game. AROD and Retzaiff did make some good reads that got us the big plays. What killed us was not of protecting the football, which Sitake addressed (Take care of the STINKIN ball).
I am not protecting AROD by any means. His lack of development of HS QBs has us in this mess. HE IS THE QB COACH AS WELL. Tom and I do not like him. This new recruit, Nolan Keeney.
BYU QB Commit Nolan Keeney Shines in First Game of Senior Season
Hopefully he sticks, he is everything we look for, Strong arm, great runner.

Back to Retzaiff: everything points to he has to be smart with the ball. He has all the tools but stupidity will get you benched.

There is Zero reason not to play Bohanan vs. Wy. at some point. He needs the reps. We need a guy that can come in in case of injury. I DON"T GET IT

As always, Hopper, takes a post “Critical Juncture for BYU Football” to turn it into an personal argument (BYJew), That is what Narcissists do.

So what is a nickname that can’t be used? A slur!
Hmmmm. prepare for another 20 posts by the pot stirrer.

To date the longest running Post in Cougarfan’s History, “Puka Nacua legend grows”. 684 responses. I am still laughing.

Here is the exact quote:
Some nicknames for Retzlaff have started to pop up on social media, such as the “Hucking Hebrew,” but he said he’s partial to one he came up with on his own.

“I have started a little trademark on the nickname “B-Y-Jew” — which I think is pretty funny,” he said.
Key word here, “Nickname”.
Retzaiff: “Which I think is pretty funny”

And he, being a Jew, can say it… And, you can laugh. The question is, why do you laugh?

using your logic explain to me why the church embraced the Book of Mormon play.

Come on man! I was following your lead to not get sucked in again.
I know, it’s too hard too resist. Like shooting fish in a barrel and there’s about 10 responses I thought of - But…must…resist…
But I’ll continue to bring up how the second shooter based on facts and science is going.

sorry I am weak

Let’s be totally honest Whopper, ANYTHING that anyone says, posts or writes can be construed as being racist or disrespectful. That is a common trick that the democrats do and use to vilify someone who does not believe what and how they believe.

In my opinion, you are taking the nickname out of context of what Jake Retzlaff is doing with his nickname.

In fact, what he is doing a great service by going counterculture of what some people believe what BYU culture is today.

He is showing that you can be from a different race or faith or whatever and feel welcome and included at BYU.

Who embraced it? I certainly didn’t.

I never felt not welcomed before I was baptized. It’s true that some people have a chip on their shoulder when they show up and not a member. I didn’t feel that way.
It’s weird how some people can’t say anything without insulting someone. Again, Retzlaff can do it all day long. The question is, is it then okay for you to do it? I wonder what he’d think if he walked past you and you said loud enough for him to hear, “Hey, there goes that BYJew.” I would just say, “That’s Retzlaff, the BYU quarterback.” Sounds better than “there goes the Jew.”

don’t take the bait, your better then this. just node and smile.
darting eyes

I’m just embarrassed by the lack of respect and compassion for others of different religions, race and natural origin.
