General Conference with no audience

I’m all for being self-sustaining and for putting our tax dollars to use for something that benefits our country instead of pouring our wealth down a sinkhole. I think there are only two places in the US that manufacture steel anymore, Pueblo Co. and somewhere in Illinois. What a recipe for disaster

The problem with this virus is that the hysteria over it is killing the global economy, not just ours. I don’t know how we recover if the country is on lock down even well into April.

You can’t get a lot of things at the grocery stores unless you go almost daily or you hit the place early and stand in line and then hoard stuff. So people are told to stock up because they should stay at home and then they are told not to hoard. What??? Talk about mixed messages.

Ha, now I know what you meant. Yep! It’s interesting that Floyd (Democrat) could only recognize a flu coming from an animal when the President is Trump. And, I hope he doesn’t have :bat: bats as pets :joy:

Unless China’s government killed all the infected people. Or, this virus self destructs after a few weeks.

Is food storage hoarding? We have been taught to save up a years worth of food and supplies like toilet paper. The difference is we were to do it over time. Not all at once because this is what happens.

I agree and I’m not sure why the hysteria, but I do know people react differently to these type of trials. It really has had little impact on me except to avoid large crowds and practice good hygiene, but my wife has been in tears with worrying. It’s a little annoying to see runs on certain products, but we will endure and get by. Some people try and take advantage of the situation politically and I have no respect for them. Hope you are all well and this will pass and the economy will recover

I read a survival book once after 9/11. The author said 10% took charge and ran up to the top. Another 10% took charge and ran to the bottom and out the door. The other 80% either followed one of them or hunkered down in fear where they were. 80-20 rule. 20% do something and lead. The rest follow blindly good or bad leaders.

My daughter who works at huntsman cancer institute, would disagree with this comment. She is a clinical researcher in Cancer… Cancer kills… period!

Your right though, that the side affects of some chemo combination can kill you.

If you read his statement again that’s what he meant. If the cancer doesn’t get you the chemo will.

First, You have no idea what I am when it comes to political leanings.
Second,
Aids - "Because of the similarity between chimpanzees and humans, any virus that successfully adapts to spreading among chimps would be a candidate for a further jump to humans—a potential HIV

Mad Cow - If humans eat diseased tissue from cattle, they may develop the human form of mad cow disease known as variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD)

Swine - a teenage boy helped his brother-in-law butcher 31 pigs at a local Wisconsin slaughterhouse, and a week later the 17-year-old pinned down another pig while it was gutted.

Bird Flu (which is really a “A” type flu) - Bird flu, also called avian influenza, is a viral infection that can infect not only birds, but also humans and other animals. Most forms of the virus are restricted to birds.

Corona Virus was “transferred”, not consumed by the human as with the other flu’s mentioned.

The is the last time I will ever respond to you Scott for any reason.
As in this post, you simply can not make a statement of belief or a point of view, you have to make your post personal and use “name calling” as part of your post.

It wasn’t me that questioned your post. You really need to chill out. Just because I or others don’t agree with you on something doesn’t mean we are disgusted with you.
