I wouldn’t be asking for something that I’ve never done myself… good advice, think about it. 
The virus was invented to create havoc and it has done just that. The Democrats welcome chaos and they have the media and the words and sentences and paragraphs to use chaos to their advantage. The Republicans have little such language weaponization.
I am 74, have all kinds of health problems that put me in a vulnerable stage several times over. From the very start I believe and acted, “If it kills me, it kills me” I only masked up or socially distanced when required or due to other people’s fears. I got both the original vaccinations (to please my wife) but refuse to “get boostedd.” I do not and will not hibernate. The stupidity of this nation and the world to wreck their economies as well as individual and families’ lives still has me stunned and puzzled.
If people think this is the only pandemic coming our way, they are very stupid indeed.

Scott, you do realize the first article was over a year ago when the medical people was still trying to understand the affects of the vaccine on the virus, the second one was three months later., Right?

This virus is like any virus prior, it can mutate faster than other viruses, which is why you need to stay up to date on information.

The real problem started under Trump when this virus was used a political football, Trump and now Biden Administration is telling Fauci and the CDC how to convey the message they want to spread.

His first expert medical statement when Covid19 first appeared was to NOT wear masks because it’s an aerosol and no need to hide in your home. I am lucky, I have not caught the virus yet, as well as no one in my immediate family, we have had a couple of false positives, but nothing more.
If you lived in out area you’d be smothering everyone with worthless masks. But glad you are healthy.
I feel pretty good, just a lingering scratchy throat. It isn’t really sore, just some clear mucus and an occasional cough with it. No real body aches, headaches are pretty much gone. Some popsicles would have been nice.
I am wondering now if it was a blessing for me to NOT get the booster… the fact that I tested positive in the morning and I had planned on getting the booster that night. Obviously I didn’t go get the booster because you shouldn’t get it if you are infected. At least that is what we’re told.
This social experiment is troubling. Anyone who still believes that the situation was not planned and put into action for political and power grab reasons is delusional. I don’t believe 90% of what I hear or read about this. There are so many “boys crying wolf” out there the chorus is deafening. I will continue to be a law abiding citizen and support this country but I have zero trust or belief in any political leader or government expert any more. Personally it’s a sad state (california) to be in… literally and figuratively.

That is why I mentioned that this has become a “Political football” instead of a health issue only.
First Trump did some incredible things to get the vaccine research going cutting a lot of the red tape out. Only to be demonized by the democrats. Now, Biden is in charge and the GOP is demonizing everything democrats are doing.
So. I tend to listen to people who are not influenced by politics, but rather science. I have some underlying health issues that mandates that I do this.
I think were people live affects their views on Covid-19, I know here in Utah we have been somewhere in the middle of the mask mandates. My daughter lives in Oregon and they don’t seem to be as bad as California.
You think the CDC, FDA and Fauci aren’t political?
And whose science? Or I should say whose interpretation of the science and statistics?
The teacher’s unions?

Pelosi?
Democrat doctors and nurses?

I think Floyd is trying to be genuine. I asked him if he could point me in the direction of a scientist who tells the truth without a political agenda. I would also like to know ONE thing Biden has actually done to make life better for anybody but himself and his political donors. How many people have “died on his watch” from Covid…
I generally do not watch much news on TV, I usually look on the Internet from places like the Mayo Clinic, Harvard medical, etc. You also have to remember that I have three kids in the medical field, one of which is in medical research, she sends me links to studies to help me understand more.
Look, I understand why people are a bit hesitant when government is involved, I don’t trust Democrats or Republicans to do what is right. Both parties are corrupt, both parties could care less about the people.
If I lived in a democratic state like you Jim, my views might be different as well. But I live in Utah, and the way our current and previous Governor has handled the pandemic seems to me to be the most level headed approach.
I will say this, living in a majority Republican state with a majority control Legislature has it draw backs as well. They complain that the best solution to solve problems is on the local level, and they get mad when the Federal government tries to control what States do (for various things), yet this past week they violated the law they themselves created last year that would give the county and city government certain rights regarding how to deal with this pandemic. Only to revoke those same rights this year, because they disagreed with the decisions made but those local GOP county made.
What happened to local control, that the Utah Republicans are so proud of?
I can’t, never thought I would ever say this about a President, since I was able live through the Carter administration, but Biden will go down as the worst President in my lifetime.
But my point was about how when Trump was in Office, the GOP praised the work of Fauci, now that Biden is in office and he works for Biden, he is the “Devil” according to the Republicans.

And since you don’t watch much news, you are clueless about all the flip flops and obvious politicization of this pandemic by Fauci and others. Harvard, Mayo Clinic have basically zero affects on the country. Wake up!
Fauci was already in his government position when Trump took office. He was already involved with China and their desire for gain of function research. Obama told him not to do it. But he sent money to Wuhan anyways. When the virus first popped up, Fauci said no need for masks and keep everything open. As he gained more confidence and power over the pandemic, he then began to do the bidding of Democrats for political gain for the upcoming elections. He was a wolf in sheepskins. Trump thought he was on his side as they pushed for a vaccine. Fauci and his Democrat buddies used this to commit election fraud. More and more comes out about this every day on the news where real journalists work. Yesterday, a video came out of Democrat election officials admitting that they won’t be able to cheat like this in the next election. Ballot harvesting was happening in a way totally illegal. The pandemic was the smoke screen and Fauci, the CDC and others were and still are keeping the lies going. Masks don’t work! The vaccines do little now. It’s time to get back to living and not in fear. Therapeutics exist but Biden and Fauci do little to get them widely available. The people know very little about them. Many hospitals still won’t give people them unless you ask for them. And then, it takes a week to get an appointment to get them like Monoclonal Antibodies.

Just last week, Biden announced that because of the Cali/Oregon fires, that they reviewed their fire suppression policies…that lead to too much undergrowth and fires that burn way too hot to be put out. The new policy will REVERT back to the days when controlled burns were used often. must be a good Conservationist with common sense left over from the Bush years bending his ear. hahahha
I have read histories about pioneers seeing native americans spreading fires to burn back sage brush and open forests to improve hunting. If you ever read the book 1492 (2nd best book I have ever picked up) When Pilgrams landed, they said , “The forests looked managed…the fruit and nut bearing trees were preferred to non-bearing trees”.
After the Yellowstone fire, the same policies were reviewed, suppressing small fires is what got us into this SUPER FIRE problem. If I were the guy in charge, I would go back after a fire and torch all the millions of stunt pines that fill about 10 trees per meter with a second fire before November storms. Yellowstone needs it in the worse way. No animal can even walt through that quagmire.
