It’s probably time for me to chime in here. I think John Brady posted a good comment on who and what grasshopper is. From what I know of him, in person and the actual man he is, he is a good man. I cannot speak for how he his within the walls of his own home but I would assume that he is a good husband and father. Again, I can’t speak with 100% confidence on that specific thing but I do believe he is a good person.
Now having said that, I must concur with others on this board that his online persona is not very endearing. I have used the term Jekyll and Hyde on numerous occasions and am okay with it. If I didn’t know him personally, I don’t think I would like him much or be a friend with the online version of him. I agree with some of the things he says, but his Hyde/online persona is someone that might be better of “hyding” somewhere else, on a different board.
I guess what I am saying is that Jekyll is a decent dude, but Hyde is likely a narcissist and bully. Sorry Hopper, just speaking the truth according to my opinion.
On another note, do you think there is a “conspiracy” to get impeachment charges against Trump? and do you think it is okay if there is?
Also, I have another story to tell that relates to Chris’ narcissist story about the guy who was an idiot to his wife and kids. Yes, he was a narcissist but he was also a lot of other things, some of which probably wouldn’t be permitted to say on this board. I will write that later.
Sometimes narcissistic actions are confused with esteem problems. It’s easy to see someone’s faults because they are right there on the surface for all to see and condemn. It’s harder to see the good character in a lot of people because they tend to hide those aspects and limit them to close family or friends. I know that if Grasshopper spent 45 years in martial arts, having been a martial artist since the age of 8, he has a lot of self-discipline and is self-motivated to accomplish positive things in life. I know as far as this board is concerned-I try not to respond to ridiculous posts- it’s just fanning the fire of animosity, which is neither good nor Christlike. I think you have the right outlook on people that struggle in the course of their lives. They may be wrong but I love them anyway. They may fall to pieces at some point, but I will always be there to help pick up the pieces. Sport’s is fun to talk about, but it is still just sports. Nice post Hawks-I’m sure you are doing a great job as a Bishop⚔️

grasshopper, you often tell us what Jesus meant to say instead of what he actually said in the Bible. You have so much wisdom. Have you ever taken any classes in Basic Encounters and Interaction Analysis? If not, you should… If so, did you pass the classes? If so, is the professor still working as a professor?
The Holy Ghost is my Professor of interpretation which is not private. Again, Jesus is Jehovah and Jehovah gave the law. In Jesus day, the Jews had strayed from the law as well as the spirit of the law. Jesus isn’t the one who strayed.

I appreciate your comments. I agree with you on all counts. I too see much good in the grasshopper. His devotion and unwavering faith and belief in the church is admirable. (straight is the road and narrow is the path) attitude and belief is admirable.
Grasshopper’s message, in most cases, definitely not all, are true and admirable.
However, the messenger is extremely offensive and self righteous.
If you make a donation, don’t spoil the good deed by advertising it.
If you help a helpless person, you are doing a great deed. Don’t spoil it by advertising it. etc. etc. etc…

I think that you miss read that which was printed. Please re-read. Neither I nor others positing on the subject suggested that Jesus strayed.
(Conservative vs Liberal) We only suggested that he was not as uptight as you are.
I don’t think that anyone on this site would interpret this as (Jesus straying). I think that most of us would see that as being a good thing.
