I wasn’t in pissing match, someone asked about what happened at USU and I explained it as I knew it. Hopper kept twisting what I was saying and I was correcting him.
For some reason Hopper thought I said something about shutting down the team, which I was not the one that said.
But to Fernk point, his comment was more as a way to explain how bad it got for the USU team, I do not think he was literally saying it was almost shut down, but hopper can’t comprehend an exaggeration.
All you or Fernk had to do is say you didn’t mean that the DOJ was going to shut USU down. But, instead, you started talking about Title IX. You guys moved the goal post.

The Scandal that rocked (or in Fernk words “dumpster fire”) USU was about Title IV violations, that got the HC, Assoicate AD and staff member fired, several players transferring, Fans infuriated, recruiting decommitting from USU.
