Trump ‘furious’ over Oz losing in Pennsylvania, blames wife Melania for endorsement: Report | Fox News

I think the headline tells us everything about Trump. Typical,
Decoding the True Narcissist: 7 Definitive Traits Explained - (narcissistfamilyfiles.com)

#2-4.
People with NPD look to gain the upper hand in every situation, including with their family members. narcissists adopt a grandiose persona that they work constantly to uphold. Their [insecure need] to assert their superiority over others makes them arrogant, competitive, rude, and explosive or vindictive when threatened or “crossed.”
Narcissists’ manipulative and often furious demands for adulation create an impossible predicament for those close to them, further exacerbating their frustration and combativeness and the traumatic effect they have on others.

Oz is a great candidate who would of beat Fetterman if 1) they had held the debate a month earlier and 2) should have run without Trump’s endorsement. He should have run on his own merits. My son moved to Philly. He is a Doctor, said he voted Fetterman. Why? Because he Trump endorsed Oz, and that was enough. as most voters will not research the candidates, they heard Trump and that was all she wrote

Your last paragraph says it all. Most people should not be able to vote unless they know and understand all the issues and make decisions based on the candidate and not those who endorse a candidate. Reminds of of David Duke endorsing Republican candidates and Democrats pointing out that all Republicans are racist bigots. It’s the same rationale.

I also believe Trump did not have anything to do with the storming of the Capitol building either. He told the crowd twice to go and peaceably protest. However, with that said, he’s said some other things that give me pause to vote for him again since DeSantis is a much better candidate.

Floyd: When they talk about the “base” of the Republicans they are talking about Registered Republicans who are active in the party. Just like the Democrats, the GOP has factions within it, there are the “Trumpers”’ (for a lack of a better term), you have the “Tea Party” type group (fiscal conservatives like Rand Paul) and then you have the “moderates”. All these groups are part of the “base”.

Scott: I’m not sure about that. The base of the Democrats is the Squad Woke people. The far leftist. I would say the base right now for Republicans is still Maga until Trump can get out of the way.

Floyd: I personally don’t think that you can’t say that about any group. Most cities worry about what affects them, not their neighboring cities. Inner Cities is where a lot of social services are done… Think about that for a minute.

Scott: I agree with you which is part of my point. The people in large Democrat controlled cities only care about the welfare cradle to grave mentality Democrats provide for them. But, while some money for social welfare comes from the federal government, the State and City governments provide much of it. So, where do they get the money from? Workers in other cities that run the coal mines and oil fields… So, city people should pay attention to those “other people” a lot more. Love thy neighbor…

Floyd: The simple reason Fetterman won was because he ran against Dr. Oz a very weak GOP candidate that could not related to people in Pennsylvanian’s. Fetterman was very effective portraying Oz as an outsider (from New Jersey) and wealthy.

Scott: Actually not. Oz was a good potential candidate. But, Philadelphians don’t much care for Trump after the attacks from the 2020 election. Had Trump stayed out of that election and the Debate would have been sooner, Oz would have pulled this one out.

Floyd: One last point: Last night’s election results reaffirmed my long-held belief yet again, “You just can’t fix Stupid!”

Scott: What has been proposed is that the younger Democrats, especially women, view the Democrat Party as a religion. It will take some hardcore detoxifying of the brainwashing they have gone through so they can think critically and independently again. There was a poll done that said younger single women vote Democrat over Republican by 35%. Married women are now voting Republican by 10-20% over Democrats.

If you look at the past 2 decades and the federal elections since the 2008 election and focusing especially on the 2020 election and this mid-term election: this country is turning moe and more
toward socialism. Many, many people believe “democratic socialism” (made up name and no such real thing) is the way to go for “democracy” and humanely caring for people and the planet (educated by junior high and senior high schools as well as colleges and universities). They do not believe true socialism is on the horizon nor do they believe that communism is right behind socialism. They are willing to stomach short-term inflation with higher prices. There are still more people who believe that "social democracy) will meet their needs from a selfish standpoint. This is on the rise from the 40 year old people on down to the middle and senior high school kids.

It is an ideology much like the religion of atheists. There are religious leaders who agree as well. They think Jesus Christ taught that governments should run with socialism. Of course, this is false. That doesn’t mean a government can’t assist the poor and the needy. But the Lord’s way is not by constraint and forcing money and goods from people. And, history has shown that mankind by ourselves cannot live the United Order without devolving into death and destruction.

Right now, I’m perturbed about the time it is taking to call these elections races. Back in the day of sanity, when we had paper ballots, the races were called by 12 midnight on election day. Now, with a high percentage voting stupidly weeks before election day, they can’t even count those in time. All this does is put into more question the validity of these elections. I’d like to see in 2024 a win in the House, Senate and Presidency Republicans and write a new national law of elections for states to eliminate early voting and have everyone vote on election day.

all young people are liberal til they have kids and have to play bills and taxes. They smarten up real quick

Yes, I agree. I was more liberal 4 decades ago. But my message was about socialism, not necessarily liberalism.

Dems take Senate and since Friday I haven’t seen one House win for Republicans. The count is currently 211 R 204 D with all outstanding races in blue states. A party needs 218 to have a majority in the house. I am not optimistic about winning even 1 out of three of the remaining races. What a bummer. Now Dems will be emboldened to be even more radical. The country is on the precipice of disaster. Actually it has been there awhile. We are just closer to the edge of the cliff.

One final thought. Josef Stalin allegedly said it didn’t matter who voted but who counted the votes. These western states that take forever to count votes and have very liberal mail in laws do not make me confident in a fair process.

Ditto, prediction…no matter if Dems take the house or not, there will be major protests until we have a system (like Forida’s) that counts the votes before Sanegans can happen. I do NOT trust the voting process in these states that take weeks to hand count.

Once I heard of these “take forever” counts, I had no doubts about Dems winning both houses of Congress. Whether by hook or crook, the USA is headed for outright socialism and ultimately communism. Won’t impact me, I will be dead, but I feel horrible for my children and grandchildren.

The only positive that I’ve heard is that more republicans are taking over state, local and school boards in even blue states. What’s maddening is that those same democrats who vote locally for republicans are still voting for democrats nationally. They don’t seem to understand the connections.

Republicans protest? Maybe Maga Republicans but not the normal run of the mill majority Republicans. That’s one of the problems. We don’t get in the faces of the leftist media and politicians.

Look up pollster, Frank Luntz. Live now is his interview on Fox News. You will find it on You Tube, I am sure, in a matter of days. Says it all about Trump and the future of the Rep. party.

Frank Luntz, big fan here

I don’t believe it. Personally, I think the Trump effect cost us the midterms. Independents will determine elections, they always will, and independents are horrified that Trump will run again. While all of us loved his policies but held our noses over his character, I don’t think we have a clue just how badly Trump is HATED by the left and more importantly, Independents…They just don’t want to see anymore caustic behavior out of a president. Trump has been in too many heads for too many years, my humble opinion.

Talks about Trump disparaging DeSantis, Yunkin (who are Rep’s new stars). About how Trump just called Pelosi an animal. Trump is done and the sooner the republican party comes to that reality, the sooner they will start winning again.

Well, he’s been very wrong in many elections. I think the comment about who is doing the counting says it all. Election site cameras go down for 8 hours? Cheaters. And they are prospering. When the democrat women who vote red for school boards and city councils start doing the same for Congress and the presidency then things can change.
Ben Shapiro show on Thursday gave a good lesson on why single women vote Democrat. Towards the end he explains why they vote Democrat and how abortion played into the last elections along with transgender and gay stuff did as well. It’s truly amazing logic and reasoning.

Say it ain’t so

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Tens of Billions of US Dollars Were Transferred to Ukraine and then Using FTX Crypto Currency the Funds Were Laundered Back to Democrats in US #DrivingBusiness #FTXbankruptcy #Democrats #UkraineWar #Ukraine #Crypto #BankmanFried

Agree (just posted similar to yours on a different topic). Trump served a purpose and that was to keep Hillary out of the oval office. (So did Obama, ironically).
So thank you for that Trump. Now… just…leave.

The GOP is in shambles right now. There is too many factions within the group (Freedom Caucus, Trump supporters, moderates) and that is one reason they lost in the mid-terms. They did not have a platform that they all stood behind. The contract with America took too flipping long to be released, I think the GOP think tank thought the mid-terms were locked up and took their sweet time.

The democrats effectively used Senator Rick Scott document for the budget, WHY? because there was nothing put out by the RNC or any GOP candidate!

then you add the stupid press conference Lindsay Graham had about purposing a 15-week Abortion ban right before the primary.

Second, and most importantly, they (RNC) failed to understand just how much the independents hate Trump for his behavior and possibility of running again.

People loved Trump’s policies, but they grew tired of his narcissistic behavior where EVERYTHING had to be about him.

Now the GOP has to regroup and get back to basics, while being conservative is good, going about it the way, they have DOES NOT WORK.
