Puca Nacua's legend grows

all you had to say was, I am wrong.

I am not a good LDS person by any means, but there is a difference from being a fan and pointing out flaws and judging others. Thought the years. I have called out two people, Emery and you. both are richly deserved

Yes, I was wrong. And you can say that my opinion at the time could have happened as well. I just said his time was going to be limited as they had more experienced WR and Coop would take up some of his minutes.

He did it. Now we can let it go.

Firstly, his name is Kupp, not Coop. Secondly, both fish and I were talking all along that Nacua was the real deal and it wasn’t going to matter if and when Kupp came back because he had established himself from the beginning as a legit player. The fact that he was going to keep playing well was something we knew and you didn’t. That is called talent analysis 101 and it was easy to see. Maybe you can ask A-Rod if he offers a class. Wait, I’m guessing he doesn’t.

Now, if you could just use that talent analysis 101 for basketball games and understand why we don’t get as many fouls called on us. The class is not transferable from one subject to another

#85…I hope Nacua can make the team.
What did Puka Nacua do in his first game back from injury? – Deseret News

Hmmm, let me think—he had 7 catches for over 100, made a HUGE 3rd down catch on a contested corner route, and made THE PLAY OF THE GAME—his block on the 4th and 1 play late in the game.

I guess he’s gonna maybe make the team right?:rofl::rofl::rofl:

How come you aren’t more like your brother

Well I have 6 brothers so I’m not really sure what you are asking.

See Puca today punch that guy? Got thrown out of the game. Rams down when that happened late in the 1st half. Second half, Rams win in overtime. The other receivers did very well. Will his time be cut?

He didn’t “punch” anybody. That was a terrible call.

The announcers for that game were also terrible.

During halftime, Bradshaw and Long both said it was a terrible call.

The Seahawks player pushed him with both hands acting like he was blocking or something after the interception, which by the way was dead after the pick, and Puka pushed the guys helmet to the side. There was no “punch” thrown. It was a bad call.

Are your eyes and ears going? He hit the guy’s helmet with his fist with a right hook. Not enough to warrant being kicked out as Bradshaw said. Bradshaw never said he didn’t right hook him. I agree it wasn’t enough. One other thing, the refs did not blow the whistles to stop the play. The other guy was well within his rights to block him. That’s all he did. Then, Puka circled him and I’m sure the guy was mouthing off at him. But, words do not warrant the expulsion penalty.
On another note, those refs were horrible.

He pushed with his fist/arm in what looked like a punching motion but his hand was too close for that. It was more of a push than a punch. Sorry, you are the one with the vision problems, not me. If it was truly a “punch” then it was enough to warrant being ejected. Also, the play was dead. Nobody else on the Seahawks blocked for the guy and nobody on the Rams went after him to tackle him. Everyone knew the play was dead. They got it wrong.

And so did you.

Sorry, I watched it. I know what a right hook is and looks like. It looked weak because he hit the dudes helmet. Smart not to hit super hard. It was no push. LOL!!! A push.
And, the play was not blown dead right away because it looked like there was no contact with Puka. You are wrong on that. So, the guy was well within his rights to block. It was also obvious they were jawing at each other as Puka circled around him before hitting him. Must of called his mother a name or something to make him mad enough to hit him.
With that said, I agree that it did not warrant ejection as Bradshaw said. He didn’t say anything else about it.

Jim, watch the replay:

It was closed fist and a swing, definitely a punch and worst of all, he did it right in front of the ref. Even his coach admits it was a punch.

It was a weak punch and as Bradshaw said, call the penalty but not worthy of being thrown out of the game.

If you punch someone (closed fist) weak or not, it is an automatic ejection per NFL rule.

It is something that Puka will learn the hard way to never do again.

If he had slapped him (open hand), he would probably get a 15 yarder for personal foul.

This whole thing reminds me of Nick Emery’s girly punch that got the BYU/Utah basketball series cancelled for a couple of years. Much ado about nothin. If Nacua punched him no matter how feeble he deserved an ejection. You don’t retaliate. It is always the guy who retaliates that gets nailed. Didn’t see the game so I have no opinion.

When a smart player gets shoved he falls on his butt and hopes to draw a flag. Either do that or walk away.

I say good call. Stupid play by Puka. Could have cost his team a game. I bet he learns and never does it again.

There is ZERO chance he loses snaps or gets any other discipline from his HC. Rams won, coach talks to the player, player admits he lost his head, everyone moves on.

The other players stepped up and shined. He might lose some play time. Stupid play.

I’ve seen worse on every single play along the line of scrimmage.
