The Mueller Report is finished and there is no collusion or obstruction of justice. Time to move on and convict the Obama-Hillary cartel mob for obstruction of justice and treason.
Not quite true… Muller said “That he could not establish that Trump committed the crime of obstruction of justice”.
I heard on FoxNews yesterday that the word “establish” has a legal meaning to it. Mueller did not say Trump did not obstruct justice, nor did he say he did… As one guy put it “He punted on the issue”.
But there was evidence that Trump did obstruct Justice, just not enough to make it a legal case according Judge Napolitano on FoxNews. Why do you think Democratic are going crazy over releasing the full document? besides being extremist in there hate for Trump, they think there is a smoking gun to use for impeachment (Never will happen).
The Democrats need to find a message that resonates with moderates and quit trying to take down Trump. Their party also appears to be on the verge of being overtaken by the lunatic fringe led by people like Alexandra Ocasio Cortez, Beto O’Rourke, and Pocahontas Warren. They would be better off to listen to the more moderate faction of their party.
Some of their ideas like the New Green Deal should be a deal breaker for any voter. They appear to be a party that is being taken over by the old man Sanders whose socialist ideas are very old, and have never worked, but his young disciples seem to think they are the latest and greatest which makes me wonder if any them have ever read any history.
I suspect that Mueller’s people knew for a long time that there was no Russian collusion. Once they figured that out the whole investigation became a vehicle to attempt to get Trump to do something that would enable them to go forward with the obstruction of justice charge. That is why Trump was wise to not fire Mueller because he would fallen right into the trap. It is a pity that these special counsels are allowed to morph into things outside the purpose for which they were established. Millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted in a pointless, politically motivated witch hunt. The purpose of the counsel was not initially based on alleged obstruction of justice but Trump did a few things that were politically unsavvy and it gave them a small flicker of hope that they could build an obstruction case but there just wasn’t enough so they shut it down. Mueller was given an unlimited budget and time to build a case and he couldn’t do it. I wonder if he is still the hero of the left?
If I am not mistaken the obstruction charge would be based on obstructing an investigation concerning collusion that didn’t exist and for which there was no evidence other than a dossier that was almost certainly fabricated. So what you do is create a phony narrative of collusion and then attempt to entrap the accused into obstructing an investigation over a charge without merit. It is all so convoluted it makes your head spin,
Trump has stated he wants it fully released too. It’s not just Democrats. The fact is, Mueller found no collusion and no obstruction of justice. It’s either there is or there isn’t. It isn’t about the level of anything. Now, Hillary deleting emails
And destroying phones and computer hard drives is obstruction of justice.
So, if you are Hillary or Smolley, a Democrat and/or LGBT, you can conspire with others to obstruct justice and get away with it. But, be republican and straight and you don’t even need proof of obstruction of justice. Trump has been cleared and get over it.
I know that CNN’s viewers fell in half since the Mueller Report came out and the Democrats and fake news media continue the farse. They lost over half a million viewers in just a couple of days. Fox has increased their viewers. Hopefully the moderates and independents will pay more attention to truth.
There should be laws against that. I think it’s entrapment. If not then this sort of behavior should be added to the legal definition of entrapment.
The problem with the dossier was the usage of the document that was unsubstantiated was paid for Hillary Clinton to get the collusion thing started. The dossier became opposition research that was used to get the FISA warrant. That is illegal. The only ones guilty of crimes including obstruction of justice are the Obama DOJ and FBI (and Hillary)
Reed, your words are truer today then when you wrote them a year ago. Sanders is about to scare the Dem Machine in Iowa, maybe the Clintons can fix everything, Epstein anybody?
If I was a Dedicated Dem, the thought of Two very old men and whiner Warren would make me just sit home and cry. Socialism may resonate with young kids that live in their parents basements, but tax payers won’t bite.
I remember when I was young and the hippie movement was going on. The idea of peace and everyone having enough to live on so there was no poor seemed like a good thing. We could just spread the wealth around and everything would be “groovie.”
As things turn out when man is leading this kind of socialist living, it all turns out not good. Even in the hippie communes they had those that ended up becoming like dictators who lead with violence and drugs. The harder the drugs the more violence, especially upon womenand children.
As President Benson always taught, socialism isn’t the United Order. And, those older Democrats, including Obama and Biden, were all students of Sal Aulinsky. What is happening now is right out of his book, Rules for Radicals.
People like Bill Ayers realized they weren’t going to create the violence in the U.S. that Aulinsky’s methods worked. They stopped the violence and went back to school to become the educators and political leaders in order to indoctrinate youth into accepting socialism and Marxism. And, teach as many as they can now to be violent and mentally ready to overthrow the Constitution. Antifa is the reincarnation of Bill Ayers movement of violence. And there are other groups. Many of which are hidden and driven by many of the left wing religious churches. They have been at the forefront of destroying conservative values and promoting vile living to disrupt the belief in the God who inspired our Constitution for the establishment of His Church and the building up of the Church in our days. There is no present leader in the Democrat Party that is willing to go backwards and leave the progressive movement. Today’s progressive leaders are Marxists. That includes those wolves in sheepskins in the Republican Party like Collins, Romney and so on. They are a bit behind the movement but quickly catching up.
The problem in my mind is that neither party is the party it was 30-50 years ago. The fringe people of both parties have taken control over the different parties.
I think before long, there will be a viable alternative to Democrat or Republican.

The following is an excerpt from Cleon Skouson’s - “The Naked Communist”. It was read into the Congressional record in 1963 when it was still acceptable to view Communism as an evil idea in terms of being at with our culture, the economic ideas, and the totalitarian form of government required for Communism to be implemented.
Many of the 45 goals of the American Communist Party have been realized,.in part, or in full. Skouson is sometimes reviled even by church members but he wrote his book nearly 60 years ago and nearly everything he feared has come to pass. I have read the book several times. He may have missed the mark on some the the things he wrote about theological issues and church doctrine in some of his other books but I think he nailed it in “The Naked Communist”.

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.
At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

Do away with all loyalty oaths.

Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

Gain control of all student newspapers.

Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
-
Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
-
Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

Internationalize the Panama Canal.

Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court.
I first read Skouson’s book sometime in the 80s before talk radio became big so this is nothing I am posting because I have heard Glenn Beck talk about it. .
I would agree about the Democrats. They are trying to destroy the Constitution today! This may be the Constitution hanging by the thread because of Democrats and a few rhino never-Trumper republicans. Not the far right. The far right is fighting for the Constitution today in the impeachment trial. Those in the middle and to the left in the Republican Party are wabbling like Mitt Romney.
I think that’s another sign as well——stating that right wing radio and TV personalities shouldn’t be listened to but listen to left wing programs and comedians is a must. What’s wrong with paying attention to Beck, Hannity, Levin or others who attempt to open eyes to other possibilities of reasons?
I have no issue with listening to conservative talk radio and have done so since the 70s. We used to have a local radio station in San Antonio (WOAI). That used to have daily talk show featuring a guy named Alan Dale and then another named Carl Wigglesworth who eventually took Dale’s place. They both had a conservative slant. Those guys preceded Rush Limbaugh but they were under the constraints of the old “Fairness Doctrine” that Reagan eliminated. The “Fairness Doctrine” said both sides of an issue had to be presented by a radio station if somebody wanted to rebut what was said. I don’t remember many rebuttals but it could have happened. I think it only applied to radio. Radio has always been a good counter balance to liberal TV network news. There was no conservative TV alternative until Fox News and all there was until Fox was Talk Radio that has just gotten bigger and bigger. Rush Limbaugh made talk radio big but it existed on a smaller scale before he came along. He has rightly been called the “The Father of Talk Radio” because he made it big and introduced an entertainment element into it.
Liberals have every right to their own radio programs but every time they try it they bomb so every few years the Dems trot out the call to re-establish the “Fairness Doctrine”. They do not believe in discussing ideas. The goal is to shut up the opposition by any means possible. If they can shut down talk radio with the “Fairness Doctrine” they will nearly control all media.
I had already made up my mind about politics before I heard talk radio. Talk radio has always appealed to me because it has been a comfort that there are people out there who have the same views I do.
I know the Skousen extremely well, since my son in law is Cleon’s grandson.

There is no foundation in the church that talks about the Constitution “hanging by a thread”, another mormon myth, much like Donny and Marie taught Elvis the discussions.
I am not sure what you think about what he said about the Communist goals for America in the early 60s but he was just informing the public about what they had openly avowed to be their goals. I think they have been pretty successful.
I heard that Constitution hanging by a thread thing for years but could never find where it was actually said. I think it may be hanging by a thread but do not know the origin of the myth. I never heard the one about the Osmonds but I had to laugh over that one.
There was a rumor on my mission in California that Dan Blocker who played Hoss on Bonanza was LDS. I never could substantiate that one and I suspect it was another rumor.
I know the family pretty well. I know Cleon was part of the original Tea party named the “Birch Society”.
While I agree with a lot of the tenants Cleon posted about what the Communist want to do, it was more the way he wanted to deal with Americans who may sympathize with them. McCarthyism was running pretty wild back in the 50’s
President John Taylor said, “The people shall have torn to shreds the Constitution of the United States, the Elders of Israel will be found holding it up to the nations of earth and proclaiming liberty”

This is the comment most referred to when talking about “hanging by a thread”.

The combination of the two is where you get the “Hanging by a thread” theory.
