The only thing I would disagree with is the assertion Trump could have done anything to stop the siege on the Capitol building. Thereâs no way for him to go there and stop it. How would he have done that. There were probably some Antifa amongst that group that went inside. Was he supposed to make a phone call? He was clear before the protestors went over to the Capitol building. He told them several times not to be violent. He said for them to peacefully protest. So, why was it his fault?

Like most politicians, Trump was a good one when he started and a bad one by the time he left. It is just the way it is. Now we have career politicians who will be in charge, they have been bad for decades and now they are the worst⌠in so many ways. They are dragging themselves down and seem bent on taking the country with them. We have been in the year 2021 for almost 2 weeks now and I want 2021 to end like I did 2020. What a horrible society we have become. Itâs really too bad and I donât see it getting better anytime soon.
Is that a negative outlook? Not really, just trying to be realistic and objective here. I really donât think it will get better until Christ returns. Now that is something I will look forward to with hope, something that makes me feel good, peaceful and happy. No more political ranting for me, Iâm done with all of them.

I would agree with you to a point about your comments. I think Trump was not a politician, which is one of the reasons he had so much resistance to changes he wanted to make.
But personally, I think Trump finally cracked under the pressure. What Pressure? the crap that no other President has had to deal with. Four years of constant attack, people openly and willingly trying to sabotage his Presidency (leaks from within the Government). The constant barrage from the media, and then you have the democrats, who some of them campaign promises were to impeach the President.
I truly believe Trump has become delusional because of the constant attacks, was the election stolen? No one will ever know, because there will never be an investigation into the state courts changing election laws.
I hear my friends on the left that say things like âThis impeachment is about integrity of the officeâ. I asked them if they cared so much about integrity, then why are you not appalled as I am at the Democrats in congress violating the ârule of Lawâ and âDue Processâ (which is both constitutional principals) that the House did to impeach Trump?
They are violating their oaths to uphold the Constitution by not allowing due process for Trump.

Personally, I donât think he cracked at all. This year was hard because of the virus and shutdowns of our economy. The speech he gave last week was what this country needed to hear. The left needs to know we wonât put up with Marxism or Fascism. The transcripts of his speech you find on Google have been altered. He told the crowd to peacefully protest. Some of the YouTube videos have been altered eliminating that. Also, the thugs who broke in to the Capitol building had already left the talk and were at the Capitol. They didnât hear him. Not sure if they would have followed his directions as some were armed with pipe bombs.
So Jim, the obvious is that we get term limits on all these jokers. Can we as a nation do it, can we get it on a ballot?
the only real way to do this is a States Constitutional Convention where the states gets together and pass a Constitutional amendment.
SoâŚif there was a time to get states to stand up and do it, it is now. Otherwise we will see more and more division.
