You asked! Just answer. You are just being a very small person. You are in the same sewer as Twack. Better climb out…
Tell me, why do you say Beck, Hall or any others played better teams than Zach did?
A person’s position in the draft is like rankings at the beginning of the year. They mean absolutely nothing. Sorry man I’m not tearing him down I’m just stating how I see it. I would put him as the third worst quarterback we’ve had in the last 20 years, ahead of heaps and riley
This type of attitude where you can’t be honest about a person’s ability without being accused of being a jerk or unchristlike is ridiculous. If I went on American Idol I’d be laughed off the stage and that’s not because they’re being jerks it’s because that’s the level of talent I have. Sorry but going second in the draft after 2020 isn’t proof of being a good quarterback. Like I said above it’s like preseason rankings. He’s not even close to the best quarterback we’ve had in recent memory / 20 years. Before 2020 the team went seven and five and that was a million times harder schedule than the one he played in 2020.
If you really want to jump into this Hopper I’ll let you, but remember how I’ve taken you down in the past and I’m not afraid to do it again
You imagination has grown.
No the purpose and the pudding. Don’t make me bring receipts and post them here
Based on your comment, you really do not understand.
Yes, there are people who get mad at officials, I have had to defend them on this site as well. That is all part of the game, officials knows that when they get into this profession. What crosses the line is when these fans/parents decide to make it personal by getting in the official face.
I never trashed BYU, the players or the coaches,
But to talk about how our current OC makes head scratching decisions that prevents BYU from being better is acceptable discussion matter. Can you show one thing that has improved in four years with his play calling? EVEN KALANI has said "We cannot settle for FG!
I actually know Kalani, I worked with dad a while ago. If you do not think Kalani does not go after officials? all you have to do is watch the Utah vs BYU game in the 2nd quarter. They showed “on air”. Kalani does get on his coaches for decisions, if he doesn’t, he is not doing his job.
the only thing that I can see that people talking about players is about Jake’s mechanics, especially when under pressure is okay as well.
Jake himself has said he needs to improve under those circumstances.
So here is your challenge, please tell us how “You know” the Wilson family and what relationship you are to do them. if not, you are simply a Ute Troll…
BTW, I have never seen anyone bash or make negative comments about Zach while playing for BYU. They have said things about what Zach Wilson has said about the Church and behavior in the NFL.
Recent memory of great QB’s? My “recent” memory of watching games goes all the way back to Gifford Nielson.
2018-2022 Jared Hall
2018-2020 Zach Wilson
2015-2018 Tanner Mangum
2012-2016 Taysom Hill
2010 - 2011 Jake Heaps
2010 -2012 James Lark
2007- 2009 Max Hall
2007- 2013 Jason Munns
2009-2012 Riley Nelson
2004-2006: John Beck
2004-2005 Matt Berry
Those were all highly recruited players who played for BYU. Some better than others, but I still would not put Zach above Max Hall, Taysom Hill or John Beck all within the last 20 years as per your requirements.
You will have to. Go for it!
Taysom is a different thing because of his unique skills. Did Beck and Hall get recruited by the NFL? Zach’s numbers are really good in college. Especially his last year. He got better and better.
They are competitive people. Competitive people are aggressive towards refs and the more competitive they are the worse they go after the officiating.
Zach’s last season is better than almost all of those QBs, he was drafted higher, started waaay more NFL games than any of them except Taysom who really isn’t an NFL qb.
What am I missing here?
You know Zach started 33 games in the NFL? Despite getting trashed he did pretty well without have any sort of offensive line. Better than Sam Darnold and Rodgers.
Everything I said before. 2020 can’t be called a regular season. Most of the teams we played were bottom of the barrel. Like I said before even though you want to ignore it. the previous two years strength of schedule was a million times harder than 2020. Going number two in the draft is like being ranked number one in preseason. It means absolutely nothing at all. What proves if you were a good quarterback is what you do after you get drafted.
Please speak to the facts of my argument not the emotions you feel
BYU never really beat any good teams in the last 20 years aside from a K-State and Oklahoma random win here or there.
Are you saying Jaren Hall is better than Zach? Use your own methodology here. You are saying with some of the other QBs they are better than Zach despite Zach starting 33 games in the NFL and still being on a roster?
so wait I am suppose to leave taysom out of the discussion because he make your argument look worse. (wagging my finger) no no no that’s not haw this works. I wouldn’t put him as our best QB in 20years, but a better one then Zach, I would dare say he is the best athlete to come out of BYU.
yes they did
Hall and beck: Arizona
Prove your point. Show they were a million times harder. He’s got you over a barrel.
So we shouldn’t judge a player by being drafted but what they do after being drafted? And Zach started and won more games in the NFL after being drafted than Beck or Hall but is worse?
Taysom is a great player but is not a qb in the NFL.
yes I am
-
record excluding 2020
Zach: 7and6 in 2018 and 2019
Jaren: 10 and 3 2021, 8 and 5 2022 -
streanght of schedule
zach: 2018 -.94, 2019 -1.23
Jaren: 2021.29, 2022 -.10 notice there is no negitive in front of the SOS # for 2021
(laughing as I say) barrel huh… barrel… moron
2018: -.94
2019: -1.23
2020: -3.89 lets just round that up to -4
me waiting for your response
Just to recap. Zach is worse than 10 of these 11 players:
2018-2022 Jared Hall
2018-2020 Zach Wilson
2015-2018 Tanner Mangum
2012-2016 Taysom Hill
2010 - 2011 Jake Heaps
2010 -2012 James Lark
2007- 2009 Max Hall
2007- 2013 Jason Munns
2009-2012 Riley Nelson
2004-2006: John Beck
2004-2005 Matt Berry
Zach is also worse than them because he was drafted #2 and started/won more games as QB than any of them.
Zach’s college wins don’t count because the other QBs had higher quality wins beating up UNLV and Utah State.
You know Zach is still on an NFL roster and Hall isn’t?
Does strength of schedule matter if you lost more games?
cope cope cope cope keep it coming, because that’s all this is
I drop facts and you drop a metric that has never proven how good someone is. I love to see you cope so keep it comming
